Vision Homes Association provides support for people with visual impairment and additional disabilities.
Our aim is to help our Service Users to live independently and assist them in achieving their goals.
We are looking for the following staff to join us in offering practical support to adults within their home.
Your role would involve providing personal care, assisting with daily routines and supporting them to access activities within the local community.
Previous experience (either paid or personal) of supporting people with multiple and sensory disabilities would be desirable, however full training and support will be provided.

CURRENT VACANCIES
Madebrook, Telford
Full Time Support Worker/Enabler (37 hrs/wk) Salary £7.00 - £7.20 per hr
2 x Part Time Waking Night Support Workers (1 Permanent / 1 Temporary – maternity cover) (18 hrs per wk) – Salary £7.20 - £7.40 p/hr
The above roles will require candidates who are able to commit to a 3 week rolling rota.
Relief (Bank) Support Workers/ Enablers (Flexible day and night shifts) Salary £6.96 - £7.16 p/hr + accrued holiday pay
This role will suit someone who cannot commit to a fixed rota, but is available to work on a regular basis.
* (Your pay rates depend on which shift you work and if you have an NVQ care qualification)
We need enthusiastic support workers, to support and encourage a gentleman who has visual impairments, learning disabilities and some moderate challenging behaviours to lead a full and active life in the community, empowering him to make his own choices in all aspects of his daily life.
